Mothering (verb) is liberation
Modern culture teaches us that the only way to have a voice – and any power – in this world is to free ourselves of the chains of femalehood.
Our cyclical physiology, our ever-changing wombs that carry new life & our unique attachment to our children…we were made to believe that all of this gets in the way of success, progress and happiness…
…but what if all that makes us uniquely female is actually our greatest power and potential to impact humanity positively?
You’re not crazy for thinking that a career outside of fulltime mothering can wait or take a backseat.
If you believe that mothering is a calling, a duty, and a sacred responsibility — you’re in the right place.
I created The Liberated Mother as a hub for moms who are willing to trust their instincts instead of going with the cultural flow of detaching from their children for most of their childhood. Things that seem normal to everyone else aren’t to us. Prioritizing prime daytime hours to career instead of our kids feels wrong. We know that daycares are not the ideal place for a kid to spend most of their waking hours. It’s becoming increasingly clear to us that school is simply an extension of this maternal detachment cultural trend of our time. So we do everything we can to remain as connected, conscious, and attuned to our children so that we can create something better than what we experienced and what we see the majority of kids being subjected to today.
